Crayola Lectern @ The Coach House 16/12/11

Another splendid evening at the highly vibesome Coach House, tucked away in a secret corner of Kemp Town. Simon Drinkwater opened proceedings with beautiful guitar drones and soft incantations followed by my friend (and former band associate in Celebricide, Emotikön and Passiondale) Tim Leopard, who performed a hugely entertaining spoken word concerning Chris Moyles and a bathtub with electronic accompaniment by Mass, also of Passiondale.

My set was the first we've done with Jarv on drums and casiotone alongside Al on cornet, harmonium, Omnichord and casiotone. We even worked out how to play my Christmas song which I'd never have expected to ever do live.
Also did Billennia, I Will Never Hurt, Ultrasonicmetaglide, Fall and Rise (formerly known as Untitled - now named thus as a tribute to The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, the spirit of which is evoked in this tune (somehow!)), Submarine, Barbara's Persecution Complex, Awesomne View, Slow Down, Mork Calling Orson (Come In Orson) [abridged version], and Combobulatory Explorations - so lots for Jarv to store in that brain with only a couple of rehearsals. Seemed to work rather well though!
