Crayola Lectern @ Latest music bar, Brighton
Much fun last night at The Latest Bar near Brighton Pier (formerly Joogleberry Playhouse) with some most interesting other bands, namely Plus (who have to surely be the most ungooglable band in the world) as well as Bella Kardasis and Paul Farrington.
I even reneged on my decision never to play an electric piano live ever again and braved the in-house Kawai which was completely fine (ok, the key action was a bit heavy, but anyway...) A very odd stage sound in that I couldn't hear what my right hand was doing on the piano much as everything was swamped in subby frequencies, but apparently it sounded great out front.
At the end of the set we went into an unplanned musical few minutes of serene spontaneity - probably the high point of the set and it felt for those minutes that our three brains had melded into one. A great moment in a good gig!

Hi Chris (&Jon & Ali), thanks for a great set, I've put some photos and video up here: http://theonionfield.blogspot.com/2011/04/when-im-pretty-in-brighton.html
it's true our name is impossible to google, and on top of that there are many other Pluses out there, not to mention the Bad Plus, Minus, Plus/Minus, etc etc. Still, we've been using it for so long now I reckon it's too late :)
thanks again, Thomas (Plus)
